at 01:49 PM Potential Liberty Explanation Is today's move a delayed reaction to Comcast filing a 13G on Feb 18th? I guess from CMCSK's point of view they took it private the first time('94) at 9x & 25xE alongside Liberty. Comcast later lost the asset after Liberty took the company from them in 2003 at a value of $13.6bn or 11x forward ebitdar(today trades ~$8B despite a more global brand). I guess at some point in Liberty could do it given the success they have had with SIRI & DTV. Last fall, Maffei said that in times passed he has offered 10 & 12x ebitda for HSN. With the stock at 5x free cash flow, he could easily pay a double digit stock price and get it under those private market values mentioned above.
