black box sucks black box lays off older more experienced people only to hire younger more inexperienced at a lower rate of pay this company sucks and doesn't value their dedicated employees or respect the fact that they to have families to support. They are a crap of a company

Thats Right ! Our revenue for 2008 was 40 million dollars. It is true that they don't pay us well enough, but hopefully that will be changing soon. As far as old equipment as replacements, let me correct you on that. We are one of the only PBX service companies that still supports platforms that utilize manufactured dis-continued products.Due to these economic times, people are no longer investing in the newer technolgies as orginally forecasted. We handle both. If Nortel no longer makes a certain product, we have no other choice but to use re-furbished equipment just like any other company does until they decide to upgrade. We will continue to operate as our own company as a branch of Black Box because our books look very impressive to the folks at Black Box. There has been no lay offs. In fact, we are hiring.

what!!!???? No way in hell Scottel was a $40 million a year company...they didn't pay the techs well and used old equipment as replacements. I think Black Box is reverting to the same tactics though.
