Doesn't matter. Just about everyone has beaten analysts' consensus estimates. But investors didn't have any specific expectations, just a magical fairy land where (despite endless cuts in jobs and wages) everyone would show huge gains in revenue. They can't, they didn't, and so the investors have been doing what they do best: panicking and selling whatever isn't nailed down.

LUV Disappointing earnings for LUV? Disappointing to who? They were actually better than expected, and in the black before "special charges", which is amazing in and of itself for an airline in this economy.

Highest airline labor costs You need to get your facts straight! Southwest has the highest labor costs! American Airlines has way to much overpaid executives!! Southwest does not have 12 VP'S of Food and Beverage!
