Euroseas Ltd. Announces the Acquisition of a Drybulk Vessel and Short-term Loan Facility
November 23, 2016 8:30 AM ESTMAROUSSI, ATHENS, GREECE -- (Marketwired) -- 11/23/16 -- Euroseas Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESEA), an owner and operator of drybulk and container carrier vessels and provider of seaborne transportation for drybulk and containerized cargoes, announced today that it signed a memorandum of agreement to purchase the M/V Capetan Tassos, a Panamax size drybulk carrier of 75,100 dwt built in 2000 in Japan for approximately $4.4 million. The vessel is expected to be delivered to the Company in January 2017.
