United Airlines (NYSE: UAL) stock ticked higher Wednesday following comments from CEO Jeff Smisek at a Deutsche Bank event. The stock later gave up gains.
Smisek said United intends to return cash to shareholders. However, cutting debt is key before returning cash, he added.
The company sees $700 million in ancillary revenue growth by 2017.
