Apollo Group (APOL) Board Member Resigns

Apollo Group Inc. (Nasdaq: APOL) announced on June 21, 2013, Margaret Spellings notified the Company of her resignation from the Company's Board of Directors, effective as of August 31, 2013. Ms. Spellings, who has been appointed as the President of the George W. Bush Foundation commencing on September 1, 2013, was a member of the Compensation Committee of the Board. Ms. Spellings informed the Company that she had no disagreements with the Company’s operations, policies or practices that led to her decision.
