UBS maintains a 'Sell' on Boston Beer Company (NYSE: SAM) price target of $103.00.
Analyst, Kaumil S. Gajrawala, sees some confustion on Angry Orchard's success.
Angry Orchard is Boston Beer's new line of Apple and Apple/Ginger flavored drinks...otherwise known as hard cider. SAM is marketing the new drink as 'Gluten-Free' since its made from apples (not barley, wheat or rye). Reports are the cider category has growth 20%+ in 2011 and its targeted toward 23-30 old male/females.
