UPDATE: AT&T (T) Tops Q2 EPS by 3c

AT&T (NYSE: T) reported Q2 EPS of $0.66, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $0.63. Revenue for the quarter came in at $31.6 billion, up 0.3 percent, versus the consensus estimate of $31.72 billion.
Operating income was $6.8 billion, up from $6.2 billion. Operating income margin expanded to 21.6 percent, versus 19.6 percent, and the best in four years.
The company said it was its best-ever wireless margins and churn.
AT&T said it activated 3.7 million Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) iPhones in the quarter, 22 percent new to the company.
