(OTC: TVTV), a leader in delivering Over the Top (OTT) subscription television services to a variety of devices including smartphones, TabletPCs, streaming media players, computers and connected TVs, announced today that it has officially launched its newly revamped website and, as part of its soft launch, is offering a temporary package of FREE TV ONLINE channels. The initial package includes 15 channels of assorted genres. Additionally, WhereverTV announced the integration of several security protocols aimed at protecting both the consumers of its media, and the copyrights of its content partners. The Company’s new website offers the FREE TV Online package with 15 channels included for a period of 2 weeks until other subscription packages are created. Each subscription incorporates security protocols that include Digitals Right Management (DRM), privacy controls protection and geo-blocking capabilities.

The purpose of DRM is to prevent or mitigate unauthorized redistribution of digital media and restrict the ways consumers can copy or retransmit content they've purchased. Geo-blocking or geoblocking is the practice of restricting access to internet content based upon the user's geographical location.
