DiamondRock Hospitality Company Announces Tax Treatment Of Its 2015 Dividends

BETHESDA, Md., Jan. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DiamondRock Hospitality Company (the "Company") (NYSE: DRH) announced today the following tax treatment of its 2015 distributions to shareholders.

The table above reflects the treatment of the dividends for the 2015 tax year. A total of 34.6597% (or $0.043325 per share) of the distributions paid on January 12, 2016 to shareholders of record on December 31, 2015 are considered 2015 distributions for federal income tax purposes. The balance of the January 12, 2016 distribution (65.3403% or $0.081675 per share) will be considered a 2016 distribution and will be reported in a manner to be determined with respect to the 2016 tax year. Shareholders are encouraged to consult with their personal tax advisors as to their specific tax treatment of DiamondRock distributions.
