Sonic Corp (NASDAQ: SONC) reported Q1 EPS of $0.18, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.16. Revenue for the quarter came in at $139.86 million versus the consensus estimate of $133.9 million.

System same-store sales increased 8.5%, consisting of an 8.5% same-store sales increase at franchise drive-ins and an increase of 7.9% at company drive-ins;
