Calpine (CPN) Posts Q3 GAAP EPS of $1.52

Calpine (NYSE: CPN) reported Q3 EPS of $1.52, $0.97 better than the analyst estimate of $0.55. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.18 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.85 billion.

Net Income, As Adjusted, for the third quarter of 2014 was $306 million compared to $268 million in the prior year period.
