Crane Co. (CR) Misses Q3 EPS by 5c, Lowers FY14 EPS Guidance

Crane Co. (NYSE: CR) reported Q3 EPS of $1.12, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.17. Revenue for the quarter came in at $727.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $769.7 million.

Crane Co. sees FY2014 EPS of $4.40-$4.50, versus prior guidance of $4.55-$4.75 and the consensus of $4.62. It sees sales of $2.95 billion vs the consensus of $3.02 billion.
