Penn West Petroleum (PWE) Tops Q2 EPS Views

Penn West Petroleum (NYSE: PWE) reported Q2 EPS of $0.29, $0.23 better than the analyst estimate of $0.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $650 million versus the consensus estimate of $630.6 million.

The company posted Q2 revs of $745 million and loss of $0.11 per share in the same period last year.
