Emerson Electric Co. (EMR) Misses Q3 EPS by 3c

Emerson Electric Co. (NYSE: EMR) reported Q3 EPS of $1.03, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $1.06. Revenue for the quarter came in at $6.3 billion versus the consensus estimate of $6.45 billion.

The company also noted record backlog, up over 20 percent year-to-date, excluding divestitures.
