Empire District Electric (NYSE: EDE) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.255 per share, or $1.02 annualized.
The dividend will be payable on September 15, 2014, to stockholders of record on September 2, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of August 28, 2014.
The annual yield on the dividend is 4.2 percent.
