ON Semiconductor Corp (ONNN) Tops Q2 EPS by 1c, Offers Guidance

ON Semiconductor Corp (NASDAQ: ONNN) reported Q2 EPS of $0.20, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $0.19. Revenue for the quarter came in at $757.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $753.28 million.

ON Semiconductor Corp sees Q3 2014 revenue of $765-795 million, versus the consensus of $787.6 million.

“Backlog levels for the third quarter of 2014 represent approximately 80 to 85 percent of our anticipated third quarter 2014 revenue. Average selling prices for the third quarter of 2014 are expected to be down approximately one to two percent when compared to the second quarter of 2014. The outlook for the third quarter of 2014 includes stock-based compensation expense of approximately $11 to $13 million. Our guidance for the third quarter of 2014 does not include any contribution from our pending acquisition of Aptina, Inc."
