Acme United Corp. (ACU) Raises Quarterly Dividend 12.5% to $0.09; 2.1% Yield

Acme United Corp. (NYSE: ACU) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.09 per share, or $0.36 annualized. This is a 12.5% increase from the prior dividend of $0.08.

The dividend will be payable on October 16, 2014, to stockholders of record on October 1, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of September 29, 2014.

The annual yield on the dividend is 2.1 percent.

Walter C. Johnsen, Chairman and CEO said, “This is the eighth dividend increase since 2004. The Company continues to make good business progress and we are delighted to provide this additional return to shareholders. The Company’s balance sheet is strong and we are confident in the business.”
