Meritor (MTOR) Tops Q3 EPS by 13c; Raises FY EPS Guidance

Meritor (NYSE: MTOR) reported Q3 EPS of $0.28, $0.13 better than the analyst estimate of $0.15. Revenue for the quarter came in at $986 million versus the consensus estimate of $974.85 million.
Meritor sees FY2014 EPS of $0.65-$0.75, versus prior guidance of $0.5-$0.6 and the consensus of $0.61. Meritor sees FY2014 revenue of $3.75-3.8 billion, versus the consensus of $3.78 billion.
"We are on track with our M2016 objectives," said Chairman and CEO Ike Evans. "Our year-to-date performance demonstrates the traction we're getting to achieve sustained improvement in our financial performance."
