MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc. (MWIV) Tops Q3 EPS by 1c; Lifts Low-End of FY EPS Guidance

MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc. (NASDAQ: MWIV) reported Q3 EPS of $1.52, $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of $1.51. Revenue for the quarter came in at $778.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $762.4 million.

MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc. sees FY2014 EPS of $5.57-$5.67, versus prior guidance of $5.47-$5.67 and the consensus of $5.59. MWI Veterinary Supply, Inc. sees FY2014 revenue of $2.91-2.96 billion, versus prior guidance of $2.89-2.94 billion and the consensus of $2.93 billion.

"We delivered very strong financial results for the quarter," said Jim Cleary, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We had great success with all of our major initiatives, including the ongoing integration of IVESCO."
