Lorillard (LO) Misses Q2 EPS by 5c

Lorillard (NYSE: LO) reported Q2 EPS of $0.84, $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.89. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.8 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.34 billion.

Total Lorillard retail market share of cigarettes for the second quarter of 2014 was 15.0%, increasing 0.2 share points compared to the corresponding period of 2013.
