Wellpoint, Inc. (NYSE: WLP) reported Q2 EPS of $2.44, $0.19 better than the analyst estimate of $2.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $18.23 billion versus the consensus estimate of $18.25 billion.

• Medical enrollment increased sequentially by 328,000 members, or 0.9 percent, totaling approximately 37.3 million members as of June 30, 2014.
• Company now expects medical enrollment to grow by 1.4 – 1.5 million members for the full year 2014.

Wellpoint, Inc. sees FY2014 EPS of $8.60, versus the consensus of $8.58.
