Medicines Co (MDCO) Posts Q2 Loss of 8c/Share

Medicines Co (NASDAQ: MDCO) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.08), $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.02). Revenue for the quarter came in at $183.8 million versus the consensus estimate of $183.75 million.

Adjusted net income(1) for the second quarter of 2014 was $20.6 million, or $0.31 per share(1), compared to adjusted net income(1) of $29.2 million, or $0.50 per share(1), for the second quarter 2013.
