Unitedhealth Group (UNH) Tops Q2 EPS by 16c; Boosts FY14 Outlook

Unitedhealth Group (NYSE: UNH) reported Q2 EPS of $1.42, $0.16 better than the analyst estimate of $1.26. Revenue for the quarter came in at $32.6 billion versus the consensus estimate of $32.01 billion.

Unitedhealth Group sees FY2014 EPS of $5.50-$5.60, versus prior guidance of $5.4-$5.6 and the consensus of $5.52. Unitedhealth Group sees FY2014 revenue of $130 billion, versus prior guidance of $128 billion and the consensus of $128.66 billion.
