Vulcan Materials Co. (NYSE: VMC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share, or $0.24 annualized. This is a 20% increase from the prior dividend of $0.05.
The dividend will be payable on September 10, 2014, to stockholders of record on August 27, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of August 25, 2014.
The annual yield on the dividend is 0.4 percent.
Don James, Vulcan's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated "This new quarterly dividend represents the second increase this year and reflects our confidence in our business, which continues to generate improving operating earnings and cash flows."
