Piedmont Natural Gas Co. (PNY) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c

Piedmont Natural Gas Co. (NYSE: PNY) reported Q2 EPS of $0.80, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.75. Revenue for the quarter came in at $462.25 million versus the consensus estimate of $427.95 million.

Piedmont Natural Gas reaffirms its revised fiscal year 2014 earnings guidance of $1.80 to $1.90 per diluted share, with emphasis at the upper end of the range.
