Navistar International (NAV) Posts Q2 GAAP Loss of $3.65/Share

Navistar International (NYSE: NAV) reported Q2 EPS of ($3.65), which may not compare with the analyst estimate of ($1.31). Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $2.72 million.

Second quarter 2014 results include $151 million in intangible asset impairment charges and a $29 million tax valuation allowance, both primarily related to declines in actual and forecasted results for the company's operations in Brazil.
