Joy Global, Inc. (JOY) Tops Q2 EPS by 5c

Joy Global, Inc. (NYSE: JOY) reported Q2 EPS of $0.76, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $930 million versus the consensus estimate of $933.02 million.

Backlog at the end of the second quarter was $1.6 billion, compared to $1.5 billion at the beginning of the year.

Joy Global, Inc. reaffirmed FY2014 guidance.
