Viacom, Inc. (VIAB) Raises Quarterly Dividend 10% to $0.33; 1.6% Yield

Viacom, Inc. (NASDAQ: VIAB) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.33 per share, or $1.32 annualized. This is a 10% increase from the prior dividend of $0.30.

The dividend will be payable on July 1, 2014, to stockholders of record on June 13, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of June 11, 2014.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1.6 percent.

Viacom President and CEO Philippe Dauman said, “As we increase investment in content and build our business worldwide, we remain committed to also returning significant capital directly to our shareholders. Viacom’s financial strength and ongoing operational discipline allow us to deliver on this commitment, through our ongoing share buyback and dividend program.”
