Valspar Corp. (VAL) Tops Q2 EPS by 3c

Valspar Corp. (NYSE: VAL) reported Q2 EPS of $1.07, $0.03 better than the analyst estimate of $1.04. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.11 billion.

The company reaffirmed its full year diluted EPS (as adjusted) guidance of $3.95 to $4.15.
