Southwest Airlines (LUV) Raises Quarterly Dividend 50% to $0.06; 1% Yield

Southwest Airlines Co. (NYSE: LUV) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share, or $0.24 annualized. This is a 50% increase from the prior dividend of $0.04.

The dividend will be payable on June 25, 2014, to stockholders of record on June 4, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of June 2, 2014.

The annual yield on the dividend is 1 percent.
