Health Care REIT, Inc. (HCN) Tops Q1 FFO by 2c

Health Care REIT, Inc. (NYSE: HCN) reported Q1 FFO of $1.00, $0.02 better than the analyst estimate of $0.98. Revenue for the quarter came in at $801.81 million versus the consensus estimate of $796.68 million.

The company completed $542 million of gross investments for the quarter including a $386 million investment in a joint venture, $57 million in acquisitions, $64 million in development funding, $29 million in loan advances and $6 million in capital improvements.
