Allete, Inc. (ALE) Misses Q1 EPS by 6c

Allete, Inc. (NYSE: ALE) reported Q1 EPS of $0.80, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.86. Revenue for the quarter came in at $296.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $286.8 million.

Earnings per share for the first quarter of 2014 were diluted by six cents due to an increase in the amount of common shares outstanding.
