After the close, Atlas Pipeline Partners (NYSE: APL) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.27), which may not compare to the analyst estimate of ($0.03). Revenue for the quarter came in at $663.13 million versus the consensus estimate of $615.65 million.
The company reported adjusted earnings before interest, income taxes, depreciation and amortization ("Adjusted EBITDA"), of $90.8 million for the first quarter of 2014, up 34% from last year. Processed natural gas volumes averaged 1,367 million cubic feet per day ("MMCFD"), a 32.3% increase over the first quarter of 2013. Distributable Cash Flow was $60.8 million for the first quarter of 2014, or $0.75 per average common limited partner unit, compared to $43.5 million for the prior year's first quarter. The Partnership recognized net income of $7.0 million for the first quarter of 2014, compared to a net loss of $27.5 million for the prior year's first quarter.
