PPL Corp. (PPL) Tops Q1 EPS by 9c

PPL Corp. (NYSE: PPL) reported Q1 EPS of $0.80, $0.09 better than the analyst estimate of $0.71. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.22 billion versus the consensus estimate of $3.33 billion.

PPL Corp. sees FY2014 EPS of $2.15-$2.30, versus prior guidance of $2.05-$2.25 and the consensus of $2.18.
