ACCO Brands (ACCO) Tops Q1 EPS by 1c; Guides In-Line

ACCO Brands (NYSE: ACCO) reported Q1 EPS of ($0.05), $0.01 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.06). Revenue for the quarter came in at $329.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $332.85 million.

ACCO Brands sees FY2014 EPS of $0.70-$0.76, versus the consensus of $0.72.

"Our first quarter results met our sales and earnings expectations," said Boris Elisman, president and chief executive officer. "We are pleased with our execution and are managing the challenges of the industry well. We are reiterating our revenue, adjusted earnings and cash flow guidance for the full year."
