Wells Fargo & Co. (WFC) Raises Quarterly Dividend 16.7% to $0.35; 2.8% Yield

Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE: WFC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.35 per share, or $1.4 annualized. This is a 16.7% increase from the prior dividend of $0.30.
The dividend will be payable on June 1, 2014, to stockholders of record on May 9, 2014, with an ex-dividend date of May 7, 2014.
The annual yield on the dividend is 2.8 percent.
"Returning more capital to our shareholders has remained a priority for Wells Fargo and we are pleased to announce this increased dividend,” Chairman and CEO John Stumpf said. “I am optimistic about the opportunities ahead for our diversified business model and believe that we are well positioned for growth.”
