New Oriental Education & Technology (EDU) Tops Q3 EPS by 4c

New Oriental Education & Technology (NYSE: EDU) reported Q3 EPS of $0.27, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.23. Revenue for the quarter came in at $254.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $267.2 million.

Total student enrollments in academic subjects tutoring and test preparation courses increased by 4.5% year-over-year to approximately 602,900 from approximately 576,900 in the same period of the prior fiscal year.
