Starwood Hotels & Resorts (HOT) Tops Q1 EPS by 7c; Guides FY14 Profit

Starwood Hotels & Resorts (NYSE: HOT) reported Q1 EPS of $0.63, $0.07 better than the analyst estimate of $0.56. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.46 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.45 billion.

Worldwide Systemwide REVPAR for Same-Store Hotels increased 6.3% in constant dollars (5.0% in actual dollars) compared to 2013. Systemwide REVPAR for Same-Store Hotels in North America increased 7.1% in constant dollars (6.4% in actual dollars).

Starwood Hotels & Resorts sees FY2014 EPS of $2.76-$2.83, versus the consensus of $2.79.
