Sonic Automotive Inc. (SAH) Misses Q1 EPS by 3c; Reiterates FY View

Sonic Automotive Inc. (NYSE: SAH) reported Q1 EPS of $0.38, $0.03 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $2.14 billion versus the consensus estimate of $2.16 billion. Sonic estimates that first quarter 2014 weather events in the southeast negatively affected continuing operations earnings per diluted share by approximately $0.02.
