(Nasdaq: GTCB) 100% HIGHER; the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use of the European Medicines Agency has adopted a positive opinion on the market authorization application for ATryn, GTC's recombinant form of human antithrombin. The CHMP has recommended that ATryn be granted market authorization for the prophylaxis of venous thromboembolism in surgery of patients with congenital antithrombin deficiency.
Encysive Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq: ENCY) 42.8% HIGHER; announced that the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use of the European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products issued a positive opinion recommending the approval of Thelin 100 mg tablets as a once daily oral treatment for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: THLD) 15.8% HIGHER; the Independent Data Monitoring Committee (IDMC) recently evaluated the data collected to date from the Company's ongoing pivotal phase 3 clinical trial of glufosfamide for the second-line treatment of patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The IDMC concluded that the trial can continue to completion.

SeaChange (Nasdaq: SEAC) 10.1% HIGHER; reports a Q1 loss of $0.15, 7 cents worse than estimates.(-.08) Revenues were $33.2 million vs. $34.48 million consensus. SeaChange CEO, Bill Styslinger, stated, "Our VOD systems revenues in the first quarter nearly doubled from the fourth quarter of last year, and have reached their highest level since the second quarter of fiscal 2006. We expect to see VOD revenues continue to grow significantly in the second quarter, and we believe that SeaChange will have a strong second quarter with a return to positive EBITDA."
Dynamic Materials Corp. (Nasdaq: BOOM) 10.8% HIGHER; JPMorgan Starts Dynamic Materials (BOOM) at Overweight
Wind River (Nasdaq: WIND) 10.5% LOWER; reports Q1 EPS of $0.03, 1 cent worse than estimates.(0.04) Revenues were $64.98 million vs. $66.42 million consensus. Sees Q2 EPS between $0.04-0.05 vs. $0.10. Sees Q2 revenues between $62-68 million vs. $72.8 million consensus. WIND sees FY EPS between $0.38-0.43 vs. $0.40 consensus. Sees FY revenues between $290-300 vs. $295.5 million consensus.
Oxford Industries, Inc. (NYSE: OXM) 8.4% LOWER; sees Q4 EPS between $1.64 and $1.69. These anticipated results include a gain of approximately $0.52 per common share on the sale of the Womenswear Group, which is expected to close on June 2, 2006. This gain was not contemplated by the company's prior guidance of $1.22 to $1.27 per share. The current consensus is $1.14. Net sales are expected at the low end of the Company's previously issued guidance range of $360 million to $370 million. The current consensus is $369 million. The Company expects to report, for the full year of fiscal 2007, net sales in the range of $1.16 billion to $1.18 billion and diluted earnings per common share in the range of $3.25 to $3.40. Rambus Inc. (NASDAQ: RMBS) 4% HIGHER; continued momentum from yesterday on news e-mails from Micron and Hynix Semi pointed to price-fixing which could support the allegations made by Rambus.
Array Biopharma Inc. (NASDAQ: ARRY) 3% HIGHER; CE Unterberg starts at Buy
Pulte Homes Inc. (NYSE: PHM) 0.7% LOWER; Preliminary net new orders for the two months of April and May are down 29%. Expects full year earnings in the range of $4.70 to $5.00 per share, including second quarter earnings of $0.85 to $0.95 per share, versus the consensus of $5.59 and $1.09, respectively.
