Michael Kors Holdings (KORS) Tops Q3 EPS by 25c; Boosts FY14 Outlook

Michael Kors Holdings (NYSE: KORS) reported Q3 EPS of $1.11, $0.25 better than the analyst estimate of $0.86. Revenue for the quarter came in at $1 billion versus the consensus estimate of $859.94 million.

Retail net sales increased 51.3% to $503.4 million driven by a 27.8% increase in comparable store sales and 98 net new store openings since the end of the third quarter of fiscal 2013. Wholesale net sales increased 68.2% to $461.4 million and licensing revenue increased 59.0% to $47.4 million.

Michael Kors Holdings sees Q4 2014 EPS of $0.63-$0.65, versus the consensus of $0.65. Michael Kors Holdings sees Q4 2014 revenue of $790-800 million, versus the consensus of $790.86 million.

Michael Kors Holdings sees FY2014 EPS of $3.07-$3.09, versus the consensus of $2.83. Michael Kors Holdings sees FY2014 revenue of $3.18-3.19 billion, versus the consensus of $3.03 billion.
