Aeropostale, Inc. (ARO) Posts Q3 Loss of 29c/Share; Guides Wide Q4 Loss

Aeropostale, Inc. (NYSE: ARO) reported Q3 EPS of ($0.29), $0.05 worse than the analyst estimate of ($0.24). Revenue for the quarter came in at $514.6 million versus the consensus estimate of $519.07 million.

Comparable sales, including the e-commerce channel, for the third quarter decreased 15%, compared to the corresponding 13-week period ended November 3, 2012.

Net revenue from the Company's e-commerce business for the third quarter of fiscal 2013, including net revenues from the GoJane.com business, which was acquired on November 13, 2012, was flat to the year ago period.

Sees Q3 2013 EPS of ($0.32)-($0.24), versus the consensus of $0.08.
