Express (EXPR) Misses Q3 EPS by 2c; Issues Light Q4 Profit Outlook

Express (NYSE: EXPR) reported Q3 EPS of $0.23, $0.02 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $503 million versus the consensus estimate of $499.67 million.
Comparable sales increased 5%. In last year's third quarter, comparable sales declined by 5%. Both numbers include e-commerce sales, which increased 29% to $71.2 million in the third quarter of 2013. In last year's third quarter, e-commerce sales grew 21% to $55.1 million.
Sees Q4 2013 EPS of $0.66-$0.71, versus the consensus of $0.78.
