Bob Evans Farms (Nasdaq: BOBE) reported Q2 EPS of $0.35, $0.22 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.57. Revenue for the quarter came in at $240.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $334.4 million.
Real comps fell 5.2 percent. Nominal comps were down 1.9 percent.
Company announces $50 million expansion of fiscal 2014 share repurchase program; program now totals $225 million for fiscal 2014.
Now sees FY2014 EPS of $2.60 to $2.65. The Street is at $2.72.
