Chicos FAS, Inc. (NYSE: CHS) reported Q2 EPS of $0.27, $0.06 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.33. Revenue for the quarter came in at $649.5 million versus the consensus estimate of $678.73 million.
Comparable sales for the second quarter decreased 2.6% following a 5.6% increase in last year's second quarter, reflecting lower transaction count and average dollar sale primarily as a result of the impact of lower traffic and the cycling of strong comparable sales last year.
