Delphi Automotive Plc (DLPH) Tops Q2 EPS by 10c; Updates Outlook

Delphi Automotive Plc (NYSE: DLPH) reported Q2 EPS of $1.24, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $1.14. Revenue for the quarter came in at $4.2 million versus the consensus estimate of $4.22 million.

Delphi Automotive Plc sees Q3 2013 EPS of $0.86-$0.94, versus the consensus of $1.05. Delphi Automotive Plc sees Q3 2013 revenue of $3.95-4.05 billion, versus the consensus of $4.05 billion.

Delphi Automotive Plc sees FY2013 EPS of $4.22-$4.45, versus prior guidance of $4.15-$4.41 and the consensus of $4.37. Delphi Automotive Plc sees FY2013 revenue of $16.3-16.5 billion, versus prior guidance of $16.2-16.6 billion and the consensus of $16.4 billion.

"Delphi had another quarter of outstanding operating performance," said Rodney O'Neal, chief executive officer and president. "Our operating model and lean cost structure allowed us to achieve record margins and increase earnings per share. We continue to remain focused on leveraging our leading portfolio of innovative technology solutions to enhance shareholder value."
