Celanese Corp. (CE) Raises Quarterly Dividend 100% to $0.18; 1.5% Yield

Celanese Corp. (NYSE: CE) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, or $0.72 annualized. This is a 100% increase from the prior dividend of $0.09.
The dividend will be payable on July 25, 2013, to stockholders of record on August 5, 2013, with an ex-dividend date of August 1, 2013.
The annual yield on the dividend is 1.5 percent.
"Doubling our dividend reflects our continued confidence in Celanese's strategic direction and our ability to generate cash to support our long-term growth objectives," said Mark Rohr, chairman and chief executive officer. "We will continue to pursue a balanced cash
deployment strategy, including dividends, share repurchases and debt reduction, while investing in growth initiatives that should generate strong returns for our shareholders."
