Frischs Restaurants (FRS) Tops Q4 EPS by 20c; Comps Up 1.0%

Frischs Restaurants (AMEX: FRS) reported Q4 EPS of $0.45, $0.20 better than the analyst estimate of $0.25. Revenue for the quarter came in at $48.79 million, versus $47.5 million reported last year.

Same store sales from continuing operations were up 1.0 percent in the fourth quarter fiscal 2013 while overall sales increased 2.7 percent as a result of new restaurant openings.
