Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) Posts Q2 Loss of 9c/ Share; Guides Q3 Growth

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE: AMD) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.09), $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of ($0.13). Revenue for the quarter came in at $1.16 billion versus the consensus estimate of $1.11 billion.

For the third quarter of 2013, AMD expects revenue to increase 22 percent, plus or minus 3 percent, sequentially.
